Prosciutto and Blue Cheese Amuse Bouche Recipe (You can fill up 20 amuse bouche spoons with this recipe).
6 prosciutto slices
12 shallots (you can also use about 4 onions)
4 ounces of blue cheese
4 Tablespoons of red wine vinegar
3 Tablespoons of butter
2 Tablespoons of sugar
salt and pepper
Peel the shallots, then chop them into tiny pieces.
Heat and melt butter in a saucepan, then add onions/shallots to saucepan, cook until they are translucent.
Now, add sugar. salt and pepper, then stir. Let onions and shallots cook until they are caramelized, then add red wine vinegar.
Now, cook until the strong smell of the vinegar has disappeared and evaporated. Slice prosciutto into small chunks, then dice up blue cheese.
