Yummy Fruit Salad – Served in Bamboo Cups
Ingredients you will need: This recipe is 8 servings.
2 apples, use your favorite kind of apple, core and peel it.
2 large oranges, peeled, section the oranges and cut into chunks
1 cup of grapes, seedless grapes are best
2 nectarines, pitted and chopped
1/2 cup of fresh orange juice
12 Tablespoons of plain low-fat yogurt. This is optional.
Put all fruit in a large mixing bowl, pour orange juice over the fruit, then place it in the fridge. You are using just enough orange juice to prevent the fruit from oxidation. Keep fruit in fridge until you are ready to serve it.
When you are ready to create your dessert, take the fruit out of the fridge, place a spoonful in a durable bamboo cup and serve. You can put a dollop of yogurt on the fruit if you want to add something extra to the fruit. Now, you have made a fruit cup that everyone will love to eat every night after dinner.
