Super Tasty Stuffed Mushroom
48 ounces of white button mushrooms
2/3 of a pound of hot pork sausage
1 whole medium sized onion (finely diced)
8 cloves of garlic (finely diced)
2/3 cup of dry white wine
16 ounces of cream cheese
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups of parmesan cheese (grated)
salt and pepper
Wash and clean mushrooms, take caps out of mushrooms (reserve caps for stuffing mixture) Brown sausage, take out of pan and set aside, then add onions and garlic to the pan that you cooked the sausage in, saute onion and garlic. Pour wine in pan, simmer until liquid in pan evaporates.
Now, add chop mushroom stems, add them to pan, cook for about three minutes, then take out of pan. Put cream cheese and egg yolks in a bowl, mix gently, then add parmesan cheese.
Now, add sausage and mushroom stems to cheese mixture and place in fridge for about one hour, until it gets chilled. Take mixture out of fridge, then spoon into the mushrooms.
Cook at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes, until the tops of mushrooms look gooey and yummy. Serve on White Edge Plates and let your party guests enjoy.
