Delicious Scottish Egg Recipe (Recipe is designed for 12 servings)


12 cups of frying oil

12 eggs

6 pounds of your favorite sausage

12 cups of dried bread crumbs

3 cups of all purpose flour

12 beaten eggs


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat frying oil to 375 degrees.

Put eggs in a saucepan, then cover the eggs with water. Now, let the water come to a boil, cover pan, take off heat and let eggs sit in the water for about 10-12 minutes. After the eggs have sat in the hot water, take them out of the water, cool and peel.

Take some sausage and gently press it around each egg, then dip in flour and beaten eggs. Now, roll floured eggs in bread crumbs.

Deep fry eggs until they are golden brown, then place eggs on a baking sheet and bake for about 9-10 minutes.
