If you love Quesadillas, then you will really love this Hawaiian Ham Quesadilla Recipe. It is similar to a Hawaiian pizza, but a tad bit creamier and tastier in my opinion. Plus, these Quesadillas make fantastic party appetizers, especially when you serve them up on modern seagreen plastic plates.
Flavorful Hawaiian Ham Quesadilla Recipe
16 ounces of room temperature cream cheese
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
6 sliced green onions
1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (you can use more or less depending on how spicy you want your Quesadilla)
2 (15 ounce) cans of pineapple in pineapple juice
1 pound of smoked ham
16 (8inch) tortilla shells
Put cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, green onions and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl, stir these ingredients until they are well combined, then chop pineapple and ham into small pieces and add to the cheese mixture. Stir.
Now, put about 1/4 cup of this mixture into the center of each tortilla shell, then fold the shell over. Gently lay tortilla in a hot skillet on stove top and cook the tortilla until golden brown, flip and cook the other side of the tortilla until it reaches a golden brown, too.
Now, take out of pan, slice in half and serve on a classy Modern Seagreen Plate. Enjoy.
