Here is The Perfect Cherry Ice Cream Recipe – No machine needed

Here is a delicious cherry ice cream recipe that you can use even if you don’t have an ice cream machine. This tasty treat makes a scrumptious dessert so serve it up in black kova cups today at your restaurant, catering event or party.

Delicious Cherry Ice Cream (No ice cream machine needed)


4 cups of pitted cherries

1 1/2 cups of half and half

2 cups cream

1 1/2 cups of milk

1 cup of sugar

2 teaspoons of lemon juice


3-4 teaspoons of almond extract (this ingredient is optional)


Prepare a cold ice bowl by taking a large bowl (a glass bowl works best in this situation) and placing it into another large bowl that you have filled half way with ice. Now, place these bowls into a freezer.

Put cherries, half and half, cream, sugar and salt in a saucepan, using a medium heat, heat these ingredients for 15 minutes, then as it begins to boil turn heat to simmer. Now, take mixture off heat and place in a blender, puree.

Now, put mixture into the ice bowl that you prepared, then add milk, lemon juice and almond extract (if you are using this ingredient). Stir, place in freezer. Take ice cream out of freezer every half hour and skim off any frozen bits from the top of it. Keep doing this until your ice cream becomes the consistency that you like your ice cream to be, then scoop into individual tupperware or freezer containers.

When you are ready to serve, take a scoop of ice cream and place in gorgeous black kova cups and serve. Enjoy.
