Everyone loves tapas, which is why many restaurants and caterers are serving tapas every day all week long. Tapas are a wide variety of appetizers, snacks and other goodies in Spanish cuisine. These yummy treats can be served hot or cold, a hot tapa might be a chopito or flash fried prawns, a cold tapa might be olives or cheese. The purpose of tapas is to encourage conversation between the clientele of a restaurant or guests of a catering event.
You will need a way to serve your tapa, which is why you should get your hands on some modern tasting plates. You can get these kind of plates in a variety of styles, sizes and designs. They are made from plastic, bamboo, wood and porcelain. The best thing is hot and cold tapas both will look amazing on any tasting plate, but you may want to pick several different plates so you can feature two or three different ones.
