Creamy Chocolate Pudding
4 Tablespoons of Sugar
4 Tablespoons of Cornstarch
4 Tablespoons of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
3 cups of Whole Milk
1 cup of Heavy Cream
8 Ounces of Milk Chocolate
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (pure extract works best in this pudding)
Put cornstarch, sugar, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt into a saucepan, then gently whisk in milk and cream. Now, bring mixture to a boil over a medium heat, make sure to keep whisking as the mixture is coming to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, let boil for two minutes, constantly whisking, then take off heat and whisk in milk chocolate and milk.
Now, pour pudding in a bowl, cover with wax paper and chill for about two hours in your fridge, then take out of fridge and serve in lovely white bodega cups.
Note: The most important thing about this recipe is to remember to constantly whisk the pudding all the way through the cooking process.
