Delicious Chocolate Covered Strawberry Recipe
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
6 ounces white chocolate (chunks or chips)
2 pounds of strawberries (washed, but leave stems on)
Put semi sweet chocolate in a heat proof glass bowl, then put some water in a saucepan, let water come to a boil and turn heat to a very low setting. Now, put bowl of chocolate on top of the water that you boiled, stir until chocolate melts. Do the same for the white chocolate.
Now, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then gently dip strawberry into milk chocolate. Lay strawberry on baking sheet, continue until all strawberries are covered in chocolate. Using a fork drizzle white chocolate over the strawberries.
Now, let strawberries harden up for about 30 minutes, then serve on lovely white rectangle plates and let your guests enjoy an elegant sweet treat.
Note: you can dip the entire strawberry in semi-sweet chocolate, but most people only dip about 3/4 of the strawberry. White rectangle plates make great vessels for serving appetizers, desserts and much more. These plates are sturdy and can be used indoors or outdoors.
