It is tasty and looks fabulous served up on a white appetizer spoon. Elegant White Cupcake Recipe:
6 Cups of Cake Flour (sifted)
2 Tablespoons of Baking Powder
2 Sticks of Butter (Margarine)- Softened
3 Cups of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups of Milk
10 Egg Whites
Heat oven to 350 Degrees F. Put cupcake papers in a cupcake pan.
Using a large mixing bowl, mix together flour and baking powder, then using a different bowl, beat together butter and sugar (beat these two ingredients until they are light and fluffy).
Now, add flour mixture and milk, remember to alternate the milk and flour (add a little of one than a little of the other one), mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
In a different bowl, beat egg whites until they start to become slightly stiff, then fold egg whites into the other (flour/sugar) mixture.
Now, fill cupcake papers and bake in oven for about 15-17 minutes. You can test to see if your cupcakes are done by gently poking a toothpick or skewer into the middle of one, if the toothpick comes out dry than your cupcakes are done. Cool cupcakes either in pan or place them on a drying rack to cool.
Serve by placing a cupcake on a exquisite white appetizer spoon, then add the cupcake garnish of your choosing, I love just topping the cupcake with pretty berries or frosting them with yummy cream cheese frosting and a little bit of lemon zest.
