These beautiful bowls can be used to serve up this delicious Mango Salsa and Shrimp appetizer.

Mango Salsa and Shrimp appetizer


2 Mangos, peeled and chopped finely

24 ounces of fresh diced pineapple

1/2 of a red pepper, chopped

1/2 of a green pepper, chopped

4 teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes, you will need to divide so you can add some to each bowl

1 cup of honey, also you will need to divide this in half

2 pounds of large cooked shrimp


Using a large mixing bowl, combine pineapple, mango, red and green pepper. 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes and 1/2 cup of honey. Now, mix this up well and put a spoonful in the bottom of your seagreen mini tasting bowls.

Using a smaller bowl, combine the rest of your honey and red pepper flakes. Now, dip your shrimp in this honey mixture and place a shrimp on top of the mango mixture in each bowl.

This recipe is very tasty. Plus, it is a really great appetizer recipe for family gatherings, wedding receptions or other events where you want to feature a bite size hors d’ oeuvre.
